The medical fee!!

On Sunday 
Evening...doing a Sunday 24 hrs..a child walks in with his son.Child was 8 yr around with a dog bite on leg.The father straightaway demanded Rabivax vaccine.So after examining the child's wound i categorised the wound and prescribed the injection..also explained about the following schedule of other 4 doses.
He got at the billing desk..came back complaining about the doctor's charges.As how can just prescribing an injection cost him 1500 rs..
This looks small thing..like charging the plight of patient but to be able to just put those 3 medications..I gave 14 plus years in the field...all my twenties were spent getting my degree.
When 700 rs popcorn at PVR,a haircut at Tony and Guy(5000),the dinner date(10000)...the tatoo on your arm(15000,his was extensive)...luxury doesn't look costly...why is your health cheap???
Imagine the vaccine adverse reactions...do you understand the life threatening reactions the body could have...imagine the injection being gone to wrong place...the scarring of tissue...imagine not categorising your wound properly and not getting your immunoglobulin...and imagine not getting...the follow up advise 
I know AI is the new replacement..eating everyone jobs..
I guess one would need only need pharmacy outlets..and not the human touch and assurance that everything will be okay and it's safe.
Thought to ponder...why do we deserve such disrespect...all we do is working hard...so that we could also afford the piece of good lifestyle and all by rightful means and paying our taxes.
